Building a new roof in your home is a big improvement and there are a lot of problems. Throughout the roofing process, our job is to keep your communication channels open. Here are some parts of the re-roofing process to help you relax and answer questions.

Roofing Installation Process Guide(2020)

Delivery and removal

On the day we begin to restore your home, all materials will be delivered to your home by our team members. Our team members place roofing materials on your driveway and deliver tiles to the roof of your home. At this point, our roof team will start removing your old roof and all the way down the plywood. When we replace your roof, we carefully remove all the old tiles and felt paper to give your new roof a sturdy, new and clean base. If we determine that some of your plywood is rotted or damaged, we will tear it up and replace the new plywood.

Roof installation

Once the old roof is removed, we have replaced any damaged plywood, and the next step is for us to install a new roof felt (also known as roof paper or tar paper). We install ice and water cover in the valley of the roof to protect against these hard elements. Since chimneys are one of the most common areas where roofs leak, we will install ice and waterproof covers around these areas and provide additional protection against future problems. As an additional layer of prevention, we dry the entire roof before installing tiles.

Install roof tiles

Once the bottom plywood was repaired and the roof felt was replaced, we went through the process of installing selected roof tiles. When complete, if the installation process is complete, we go back to paint all the roof vents and pipes to match the color of your new tiles. Draw these accessories to mix them with your new roof to give it a better street appeal.

Final cleaning

Once our work is completed and your roof is installed, we perform a final inspection of your entire property for falling debris, shingles, and nails. A nail magnet is placed on the outside edges of your home and driveway to pick up lost nails and other metal objects that could damage your tires or injure you
